EmpowHER

During my tenure at smartData Enterprises Inc., I had the opportunity to conceptualize and create EmpowHER, a transformative project focused on supporting women through their pregnancy journey. This project was especially meaningful as it allowed me to design both a mobile app and website that combine emotional care, smart technology, and AI-powered personalization.

About
EmpowHER is not just an app—it’s a lifeline that wraps around families when they need it the most. From daily diaries and sleep harmony tools to partner support features and AI-powered lullabies, the platform is built to nurture mental health, emotional wellbeing, and family bonding during and after pregnancy.

Problem Statement
Pregnancy can often feel overwhelming due to lack of personalized support, fragmented information, and limited emotional care tools. Many expecting mothers struggle to track their health, emotions, and routines in one place. The challenge was to design a unified digital experience that provides personalized guidance, seamless tracking, and emotional comfort through technology.

Timeline
The design sprint was completed in 2 weeks, covering research, ideation, wireframing, UI/UX design, and prototype development.

My role and responsibilities

Conducted user research to identify challenges faced by expecting mothers and families.
Designed the mobile app and website UI/UX with a focus on accessibility, emotional resonance, and ease of use.
Created a design system ensuring consistency across digital touchpoints.
Developed interactive prototypes to demonstrate AI-powered features such as voice check-ins, personalized lullabies, and smart device integration.
Delivered a user-centered, visually compelling design ready for development.
