During my tenure at smartData Enterprises Inc., I had the opportunity to design MyHealthy Gate, a healthcare platform that bridges the gap between patients and medical experts through a seamless website and mobile app experience. The vision was simple yet powerful - provide users with access to healthcare anytime, anywhere, and enable them to connect with experts of their choice at the click of a button. This project allowed me to create a unified digital design system that not only showcases the platform’s innovative offerings but also ensures trust, accessibility, and ease of navigation across both web and mobile.

About
MyHealthy Gate is a digital healthcare solution that empowers patients to take control of their well-being by connecting them directly with healthcare professionals. Whether at home, travelling, or on the go, users can access medical expertise without geographical or scheduling barriers. The platform combines convenience, trust, and technology offering appointment booking, secure communication, and personalized dashboards for managing health journeys. For doctors and experts, it provides a reliable channel to engage with patients, share insights, and extend care beyond traditional clinic walls.

Problem Statement
In today’s fast-paced world, access to quality healthcare is often restricted by geography, scheduling constraints, and fragmented digital experiences. Patients struggle to find reliable experts, book consultations conveniently, and track their medical interactions in one place. At the same time, healthcare professionals need a simple and secure way to connect with patients beyond physical boundaries. MyHealthy Gate was designed to overcome these challenges by offering a centralized digital gateway to healthcare—an intuitive platform where patients can connect with specialists, manage their health records, and access care on demand.

My role and responsibilities

Conducted user research to understand patient needs and expectations for virtual healthcare.
Designed the UI/UX for the mobile app and website, ensuring consistency and user-friendliness.
Built a scalable design system for typography, colors, components, and responsive layouts.
Created interactive prototypes to showcase booking flows, doctor profiles, and user dashboards.
Collaborated with the development team for smooth design handoff and implementation.
